Ready to rest, rejuvenate, write, explore the Pacific Northwest, or do private work with Gail?

Come to Hummingbird Cottage at Kindred Spirits to rest, write, create, heal, discover the area, or work individually with Gail Larsen.  Whidbey Island is beautiful, nurturing, and inspires creativity. In fact, this is where Gail wrote Transformational Speaking in the summer of 2007.

About Hummingbird Cottage

View Hummingbird Cottage and its stunning view of Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountain range, with sunsets that take your breath away. In the summer you’ll be able to pick fresh vegetables and raspberries and marionberries from the garden.  You’ll be less than three miles from the town of Freeland, with the South Island’s best grocery store, post office, and business services. The seafood is fresh and the local Penn Cove mussels delectable. Only 12 minutes from the celebrated little art community of Langley, there is also nearby access to many beautiful beaches and forest trails on this second-longest island in the U.S.

Hummingbird Cottage is a private studio with its own entrance. In addition to the expansive view from the living/sleeping area, the cottage includes a small kitchen, dining area, writing desk, double closet, bathroom with shower, and gardens and grounds available for your relaxation and exploration. There is high-speed DSL and cable television

What is the cost?

The rental is $425 for seven nights (single occupancy - $550 double), except for July-September when it is $500 ($650 double).  We can establish a lower rate for a month-long rental, and if you wish to come for a shorter time or weekend, plan on $100/day with a three-day minimum.

Tell me about Whidbey.  And how do I get there?

Whidbey Island is within an hour’s journey of downtown Seattle, including a fifteen-minute ferry crossing where you breathe in the fresh sea air and know an adventure awaits. Whidbey is the second-largest saltwater island in the continental United States, located on Puget Sound between the Olympic and the Cascade Mountain ranges. Its signature characteristics include the waterfront village of Langley and the embrace of the natural world in its beaches, forests, and parks.

Whidbey is easily accessible by car from both Seattle and Vancouver. If you fly to Seattle, you can rent a car at the airport or take a 90-minute shuttle and rent a car here on the island.

For what private work is Gail available?

Whether you want to develop a new presentation, plan a creative project, or launch your speaking services, Gail’s individual work to support your professional development is described at the "Private Coaching/Consulting" link on the left.
Or . . . .
You might want to consider support for your personal journey.  To paraphrase the subtitle of Gail's book Transformational Speaking, “If you want to change your world, tell a better story.”  Using the JourneyWell ® wheel of growth and change, we will consider where you are in your life journey, claim the new story you want to live, and identify where your old story is holding you back. Then, using the shamanic healing process of Illumination, we can identify and begin to release the energetic imprint of the old story.

Please e-mail [ email ] or call 360-730-1707 if Hummingbird Cottage calls to you with dates in which you are interested.

Note:  Kindred Spirits, Gail's NW home is on the market.  More here.
